Tools: Search ability of WordPress

Another positive for WordPress is that is pretty search friendly / search optimized:

• decent internal searching of the content in the blog and pages plus both tagging and categoriziation
• easily crawlable by external search engines - they can quickly and correctly catalogue the site properly so data on our site will end up on the results
• Exposed URL naming is not "/sfsdf/adfsdf/dfsdfs/index.asp?=sdfsdafasdf&fsfgsf"  but rather "/news" that makes it easier to both remember, write and for the search engine to navigate
• while Wordpress can still have an alternate smaller name as well so you can send an even simplified link but it won't hurt external search engine from finding data.
