Polycom Speaker Phones

http://poly.factoryoutletstore.com/cat/16823/Polycom-SoundStation-Expandable.html

For Trinity -- trying to see how compatible the Polycom's VOIP is to 8x8's service but always could just use the analog version and plug into an adapter.

Book of Common Prayer Copyright ?

Need to research it and see which body has the copyright and process/payments if we created online tool/version and/or offline printed synopsis version for new members with Psalms and RSV Gospels + Text.  (Travelers & Sick Bible)

Survey sent post attendance as part of follow up

I think there was an excellent survey or list of areas to cover with someone in that first call back and/or emailed out as well.

It covered areas like parking, etc.

Usability Consulting

Another area that doing a more massive web project can get us is a shared usability / user experience consultant to really help us identify and resolve key issues and develop "standards" to really make the experience the best possible.

Episocpal ID / Emergency Call Card

Another area that I think could be done much better as we have an aging denomination is handling contact in case of emergency info, hospitalization, call for a priest at a hospital, etc.

An ID card linked to a database and phone number should be able to link that person to a congregation, emergency contact and an on call priest in case of hospitalization.  Similarly if there is a medical directive and organ donor that too could be on the card / in the database.

Could also track those taking care of someone at home - older parent, children, etc. to see that their needs were met.  Including things like family pet, etc.

One of the big areas for missions and churches to know is...

Elderly Transport & Disability Accessibilty signage for each church.  Is the number o fhandicap parking spots sufficient?  What are the community/public transit options that work for seniors?  Carpooling and ride sharing.

List targeting - Magazine lists to target

We need to look into the possibility of purchasing the local mailing list data for mags like Jet, Black Entrepreneur / Enterprise, Ebony, Vibe, African American Golfer, Essence, Sister to Sister, Upscale, etc.

Street Party Permit?

Can we get a street party permit for Pentecost Sunday?

New Branding/Identity to go across all media..

We need a consistent identity / branding / look and feel across all media including:
Web Site
Facebook / All Social Media sites
New Church Sign
Printed Materials for Welcoming (Visitor card, brochure, signage, etc)
Door hangers
Stationary
Letterhead
Business Cards
Flyers
Sign shakers / human directionals
Bumper Sitcker / Bumper Magnet
Window Decals
License Plate frame / wraparound (Engraved or printed) (http://www.cafepress.com/+episcopal+license_plate_frames)

Places to market:
Street fairs (Solano Stroll)
Farmers markets

Advertising:
Billboard
Mobile billboard
Transit - Bus Interior, Bus Shelter Poster, BART Poster, Bus Bench
Grocery Cart
Movie theater

Needs to include/represent the African-American identity of this congregation -- possibly African themed textile background that could also look good in black and white as well as/or the "leather border" from around the church that ties back into the historical nature of the building.  Image of the Window/Front is definitely recognizable and would be good to carry forward too.

Time in the office...

Spent time in the office today researching and organizing our Telcom expenses and testing the current DSL line for upload/download speeds.  It will need to be upgraded/replaced if we use a VOIP system as uplink is limited to 0.38Mbit/sec.

Also did some research on African American Weeklies -- "Sunday Newspapers" and a bit on Black Radio options we might have for advertising.
